It is important to mention that at First Idea Studio we do not use free templates or copies of other designers out there, all our designs are made by artists and every design customized and dedicated to your company.

HTML

The pages in HTML (static pages by definition) are a prototype basis of most Internet page toda. An HTML website may contain many components from other languages such as JS (language for creation or management of certain elements or dynamic behavior), Flash (program for interactive elements) files, XML (extensible markup language [extensible markup language] this is not a language itself, but a definition for other languages) and CSS (cascading style sheets, used for presentation control); these components enriches the performance of a page and user experience, although not necessarily essential to the operation of the website.

Depending on the purpose of your website, this format is the most common and may be the most appropriate for the website. Note: this language is actually the base of operation of any type of website as a platform loading base.
The edition of a HTML website requires a WYSIWYG HTML editor and basic knowledge of editing, or even a text editor (this last requires advanced knowledge in HTML). One advantage of an HTML page over a CMS is that it is possible to have a little more control over your page design as it does not have to be based in any format or pre-established design (template) to introduce the content and it is recommended for webpages that do not require constant change.

Flash

Flash web sites are pages with interactive content and rich in graphics and images. The flash websites can run integrated or independent content, this depends on the purpose of the website and how information is delivered to the user.
A flash website with integrated pages content are working on a single platform (or a single root file) file calls the data requested by the user to load on the same platform, this way, the main file is not load again, just the images or text content requested by the user; a website in flash with separate content are pages that function as the HTML does, in which each page is separated, this is convenient if you want to visit a certain page directly without going through the opening one to find it.
We recommend the creation of a website in flash for a product, service or promoting an established brand and as a supplement to an html or cms website, also taking into account the nature of the market that the website is directed to.
Depending on its content, a Flash website can take longer in charge, however the webpage can be much more dynamic and appealing to the user (visitor) allowing anyone to control the way information is delivered.
You can identify a Flash Conente when you see presentation of videos, photo galleries and interactive integrated pages systems.

Content Management

CMS (content management system [web content management]) is a tool to control the content of a website, the system is designed especially for constant updating of the site. One of the biggest advantages of a web CMS is that one or more users, with little knowledge in editing can control and modify the contents of the website. Depending on the system, the CMS can provide interaction with the visitor on the page, making the site more dynamic.
With a CMS, the user can define almost anything within the pages, documents, movies, images, navigation, etc.. This system is often used to display dynamic content such as the publication of magazines or newspapers, articles and promotions of the company.
For the operation of this system requires a database installed on the server, in which the information is stored and later load onto a page. Very commonly, this system works through a single page, which is loaded over and over again but with different variables (PHP language for instance) to display the information. This unique page is composed by a large number of files in different languages that are mounted on a TEMPLATE, which orders information for the visitor.
Major changes in behavior or components to this system requires advanced knowledge.
